Specialisation

I specialise in the field of Fraud Detection and Forensic Accounting and have been handling various Forensic Investigations related to insurance sector and claims including the ones where court has order the insurance company to get a forensic investigation done.

During the forensic investigation, we apply various forensic techniques such as document review, market intelligence, volumetric analysis and interview.

While reviewing the documents, tools such as the Beneish M Score Model (to the company as a whole), Benford's Model, Relative Size Factor, etc. are applied and chosen based on the nature and objective of the investigation, type of data available, red flags being raised at the preliminary stage of investigation and other relevant factors.

The reporting objective is not just to verify the documents but to address the concers raised by the insurance company or the appointing authority.

The area of work involved audit of various areas of balance sheet and profit & loss account of the company apart from understanding the business processes relating to these areas and testing the controls in place for them. This was done based on the advanced auditing techniques and standards of accountancy.
	Bose Corporation India Pvt. Ltd.	Worked as a team member during the Statutory Audit of Bose Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. for the period ended March 31, 2019. The area of work involved audit of various areas of balance sheet and profit & loss account of the company apart from understanding the business processes relating to these areas and testing the controls in place for them. This was done based on the advanced auditing techniques and standards of accountancy.
